From the president...

Whatever happened to the mild

winter we were all talking

about? Well just in a nick of

time when the cabin fever has

started to set in and we're get-

ting over our colds, Get Your

Kicks on Route 66, the Chi-

cago Paramount Weekend, is

but a weekend away. Time to

warm up to old friends or make

new, down in the windy city.

If you're new to tall clubs or tall

club weekends, give a call to

one of the contacts at the end

of this newsletter. The hotel is

an easy day drive, on the out-

skirts of Downtown Chicago,

giving you ample opportunity to

check out the largest group of

tall people you have likely seen

in your life, having a great time.

Besides sharing with other tall

clubs from around the country

and world, the local Tall Club

of Milwaukee is growing and

trying out some new ideas. Our

monthly dinner socials are

back starting out with Feb 9th

at Outback Steak House at

Southridge. We of course are

sharing some events with our

sister clubs in Chicago and

Madison - and we encourage

you to look at their web calen-

dars to see if any of their

events fit into your calendar if

you're going their way. As an

example of this, a member of

the Toronto Tall Club will be

attending our February dinner

social.

If you haven't renewed your

membership or joined, please

do so. Dues help us to con-

tinue the newsletter, our voice-

mail, post office box and mem-

bership in Tall Clubs Interna-

tional.

If anyone has any items they

would like to donate for the

Marfan or TCI Foundation fund

raisers at the Chicago week-
